THE LADY BEHIND THE LENS.
My name is Jenny and I was born and raised in Dayton, Virginia. I'm a mother to three amazing children. My love for photography began spiraling out of control not long after my daughter was born. That's when I purchased my first DSLR camera so I wouldn't miss even the tiniest of moments. I took my camera everywhere with me that first year, learning every trick, and testing out every lighting situation I could find. Basically my camera became my fourth child :) Juggling two jobs was tough work! So in 2014 I made the BIG leap of faith and started working full time growing my photography business and meeting new clients!
My shooting style is very laid back. I like to catch those moments that aren't so much posed and are real. I love real raw reactions. I have yet to have photographed a single wedding that I did not shed one tear....My goal is to provide each and every one of my clients with a relaxed fun photoshoot, and amazing photos they will love forever. If you have a cranky baby, or toddler full of tantrums....that's okay because I do too! As a mother of three I know how little ones can be and I usually have a few tricks up my sleeve!
On the days I am not chasing little ones with a camera, you can catch me chasing my crazy kiddos around, reading a good book or traveling! I absolutely love the Outer Banks, and even photograph local families from the valley while I am on vacation there every June. My children are my life and during our photo sessions together you may hear me talk about them often. I like to get to know the families I photograph, I really want you to feel comfortable in front of the lens and have a fun experience during your session!
